Tacos la Perla #2 started the same way a lot of good things do — someone made food so good people wouldn't let them stop. We've been rolling through Oakland for over 15 years, and the recipe hasn't changed. Neither has the commitment to doing it right every single day.
We hand-press every tortilla. We marinate our meats the way our abuela showed us, with time and patience — no shortcuts. The pineapple on the al pastor isn't an afterthought; it's the whole point.
